A clinical pathologist with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Dennis Hooper serves as the owner and head of research at Medical Service Consultation, International LLC, located in Dallas, Texas. He has focused his recent research endeavors on mycotoxins and molds, and published papers on the topic in the April and December 2013 issues of MDPI’s Toxins journal. In addition, Dr. Hooper has provided his insight as an expert witness in court proceedings involving DNA evaluation for the presence of mycotoxins and mold.
Dr. Hooper holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in microbiology from the University of Utah and the University of Missouri, respectively. He later earned a doctor of philosophy in microbiology from the University of California, Davis, followed by a doctor of medicine from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Additionally, he fulfilled an internship in flexible medicine and a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
